Our Approach
We involve families in the child’s growth and learning at every stage of child’s development and by enlisting the families’ support as active partners to ensure child acquires positive social skills and emotional security. Reaching out to families and involving them in everyday activities helps to make the child more comfortable and secure in the child care setting.
Guidance strategies are catered for individual child’s ability, age and stage of development, skills, personality, parental involvement, environmental stimulation, health conditions and mental and physical well-being. The equipment, play area, education materials provided are appropriate to the age of children so that play based learning can be practiced.
Our environment
We create an environment that enhances the child’s intellectual, emotional, social and physical growth and development. The curriculum aims to empower children to their highest potential by play based learning, behavioral guidance in developing respect, self-regulation, self-confidence, positive behaviors and sensitivity in their interactions with others.
The day care provides a culturally diverse environment respecting children from diverse backgrounds and involving parents and children in activities celebrating all backgrounds. Children are made comfortable and get a sense of belonging in the child care by providing books, posters, toys, art work etc that represents their communities as well as others around them. Children are encouraged to learn, inquire, appreciate and seek differences between each other and expose them to activities, materials, experiences that provide positive information about various vocations.

Hi everyone, my name is Gul Mangat, Director at Wonder Years Childcare. I have been in the profession of Early Childhood Education nearing 20 years. During my career, I have worked in Scotland, The Netherlands, India and Canada.
As Director of the Centre, I take great pride in knowing that our Centre is one that strives for excellence and quality in child care while promoting our collaborative spirit. We have a wonderful complement of staff; dedicated and truly amazing at what they do.
I am married and have 2 children of my own and they keep me busy with their extracurricular activities.
